## The Science Behind Sorano

Sorano's algorithm is built on circadian rhythm
research and the concept of CBTmin (Core Body
Temperature Minimum) — the lowest point of your
body temperature cycle, typically occurring
2–3 hours before natural wake time.

## Why CBTmin Matters

light_before_CBTmin: delays your clock
light_after_CBTmin: advances your clock

By precisely timing light exposure, avoidance,
melatonin, caffeine, and meals around your
CBTmin, Sorano creates an optimal adaptation
strategy that can reduce jet lag recovery
time by up to 50%.

## FAQ

Q: How does Sorano work?
A: Enter your flight details and sleep profile.
The app calculates your CBTmin and generates a
   personalized adaptation plan with timed
   recommendations for light, sleep, caffeine,
   melatonin, and meals.

Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: Go to Settings → App Store → Subscriptions
on your iPhone to manage or cancel.

Q: How do I change my sleep profile?
A: Open Settings in the app and update your

Q: What if my flight changes?
A: Delete the current plan and create a new one
with updated flight details. The app will
   generate a fresh adaptation schedule.

Q: How do I enable notifications?
A: The app will ask for notification permission
when you create your first plan. You can also
enable them in Settings → Notifications.

Q: Is Sorano a medical device?
A: No. Sorano provides general wellness
   recommendations based on circadian science.
