Sorano ("the App") is developed by Alexey Rokalo.
Data Collection and Storage
Sorano stores your data locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults and local storage frameworks. The following data is stored locally:
- Sleep profile (bedtime, wake time, chronotype)
- Flight details and travel plans
- Adaptation plan progress and completion status
- Notification preferences
- App settings
We do not:
- Store your personal data on external servers
- Track your location
- Use analytics or tracking services
- Require account registration
- Sell your data to third parties
API Requests
Sorano makes the following external API requests:
- Flight Search: When you search for a flight by number, the app sends a request to the AeroDataBox API (via RapidAPI) containing the flight number and date. This is used solely to retrieve flight details (departure/arrival times, airports, status). No personal data is transmitted.
Data Security
Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including device encryption.
Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time by:
- Uninstalling the app — all locally stored data will be permanently removed
- Deleting individual plans within the app
Purchases and Subscriptions
When you subscribe to Sorano:
- Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.).
- RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat receives:
- Anonymous app user ID
- Purchase history and subscription status
- Device type and OS version
- What we DON'T collect: Your Apple ID, email, name, payment details, or any personally identifiable information.
Third-Party Services
Sorano uses the following third-party services:
- AeroDataBox (RapidAPI) — for flight data lookup (flight number and date only)
- RevenueCat — for subscription management (see above)
- Apple App Store — for payment processing
The app does not use analytics or tracking services.
GDPR Compliance (European Users)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to:
- Access your data (stored locally on your device)
- Delete your data (by uninstalling the app)
- Data portability — your data is stored on your device and under your control
Since we do not collect personal data on servers, most GDPR provisions are inherently satisfied.
CCPA Compliance (California Users)
We do not sell personal information. We do not collect personal information beyond what is stored locally on your device.
Children's Privacy
Sorano does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not collect personal data from any users.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
